Thank you so much for taking the time to have a look at some of the ministry areas that you can be involved in as you serve the church and Get Connected.

The apostle Paul wrote to a local church in Corinth and encouraged them to all play their part in church life. He said they were all members of the body of Christ and therefore their individual involvement benefitted one another.

Our desire as leaders of the church is that each member of The City Church Canterbury will enjoy two things: authentic relationships and an authentic role. That way each one of us will enjoy relationships with other people and also have an opportunity to grow in the gifts God has given us. As well as the shaping of character that Holy Spirit always does as we serve, we also want you to find a role that you enjoy and makes you realise what an integral part of the church family you are.

We know there are many ministries that we could be involved in that aren’t written down here. We are committed to following God’s leading for us as a local church family and that will inevitably mean we can’t do everything. If you have a burning desire to see a new ministry develop in the church, why not get involved in one of these ministries as you pray to see where God would lead us next!
